My name is Ruchit Garg and I work with Microsoft as Program Manager on various aspects of internet based gaming services. On day-today basis, I write functional specs, drive prioritization and development, identify and negotiate solutions impacting multiple teams, Taking care of business intelligence and work with range of departments including Security, Privacy, Legal, Marketing….. Some of the projects i have worked recently on are:
- Web games services for Windows Phone 7.
- Anti-Piracy system for PC games downloaded online.
- Windows 7 internet casual games backend multiplayer services.
- Tools for Games for windows Live Client.
I am also co-founder of a Tech Startup called eventNu and also founding member of FounderWise a unique training program for entrepreneurs in Northwest USA.
In my previous avatars, I have lived through a failed mobile gaming startup, worked with Mascon Global Ltd & Prologix Software Solutions and had opportunity working on Telephony products, VAS, Text to Speech systems.
I love conceptualizing, designing new applications and enjoy blogging. I am currently infatuated with photography.
I was actively involved with World Scout Movement for about eight years and have been conferred ‘President Award‘ by Late Shri S.D.Sharma (President Republic of India) for my services towards society.
I am also associated with CL4K a non-profit organization. I also Chair alumni network of Shobhit University.
