		<description>sorry, but i disagree... there are MANY who still visit post-offices in india... and if you want to witness long serpentine queues, you can visit any post-office not located in a residential area... AND, the govt does plan to centralize the billing for many-a-services, so that you don&#039;t need to go to a particular office to pay your bills for many-a-services (in israel, all the billings are centralized... so if you don&#039;t trust the internet, or don&#039;t have internet facility then just go to a post office and pay your bill)... moreover, there are post-offices in india where you can get your train-ticket... this was a pilot project launched in 2008 to help use the already existing infrastructure of post-offices to the advantage of railways and its customers... so the point is: at least the &quot;intent&quot; to transform the olden definition of &quot;postal services&quot; is THERE...  it may take time, but we are on the right track... and remember, the main source of revenue for post-offices are still their &quot;banking&quot; services which are used by many in villages...</description>
