I did the role play for my Husband's company and can vouch that it immediately payed off. we now have a definitive market game plan, not that we did not have it before, but we now have the whole 9 yards: segmentation break even analysis, effort estimation, ROI and even an exit plan. Sometimes, it is good to act as the devil's advocate yourself, if you cannot find any one for the role play: the only caveat being you really have to ask yourself those tough questions and not pussyfoot your business.
