120 minutes or fly for free

Sometime back I wrote a post on need of having a Domino’s model for the airlines industry because of detoriating services provided by Indian airline companies

Some of my friends wrote me saying that my comparision of airlines with domino is uneven as airlines doesnt have good infrastructure. But we, as a consumer who is paying full taxes, lots of income tax, should not take it forgranted. Come out with some formula making airlines to participate in infrastructure programs and so on.

Seems like someone heard my plea.

“THE Delhi State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission has directed all airlines to pay a compensation of Rs 10,000 each to its passengers if a flight is delayed for over two hours. The airlines can only plead exemption when the delay is caused by “bad weather, act of nature, poor visibility, tyre burst or bird hits.” In such cases, the airlines will have to provide evidence.”

I am sure there would still be some implementation issues for this ruling, but surely a positive change.

Are there more services we need to apply Domino’s model?

    ya, i think same can be applied to real estate. builders promises to give the possesion of flats in certain period but hardly fullfill that.
