I got a chance today to attend barcamp at Microsoft Campus, Hyderabad. This was organised by Bootstrap Hyderabad chapter
Though I was unable to attend all part of it, though it was really nice experience. Met so many people, some of them knew me because of my blog 
Some of the interesting people I could meet around were Rajat who’s working on a kewl photo recognistion technology for mobile phone. Huge potential !..
Sriram from MS, gave a presentation on making mobile application less chatty. Putting up a proxy in between is an obvious choice but seems cumbersome to have one for individual apps. I guess opera mobile browser supports AJAX which helps to reduce some of the http requests.
Another person I met was Ashhar Farhan, CTO founder of Spokn, a promising Open VoIP company. The reason I said ‘Open’ because they offer open APIs which allows you to integrate IP telephony (with presence) to your infrastructure. Supports PC, mobile, and PSTN phones. Interesting !
I am sure I am going to be more regular in future bootstrap programs.
